Cruz Care began the way most good ideas do — out of necessity. After years navigating the disability sector as a family, we saw what worked, what didn’t, and what was missing in the middle.
We saw rosters that fell apart on long weekends. Reports that read like riddles. Support workers who came and went before they ever really knew the person they were supporting. We knew there had to be a better way — and we knew nobody was going to build it for us.
So we built it ourselves. Cruz Care is small, deliberate, and obsessed with the boring details that make care actually work: matching staff carefully, communicating clearly, and showing up — every shift, on time, ready.

Our support workers are skilled, screened, and seriously good at what they do — but more than that, they care. We hire for character first and train hard on everything else.

We take time to match staff with participants — skills, schedules, personality and shared interests all factor in.
